Here's what we've been reading online lately:

My (Pat) friend, Scott Kedersha, wrote a post that really resonated with me on bearing each others burdens. His text is Galatians 6:2. He writes, " If I do, I know it will cost me time, sweat, energy and it might even inconvenience me. Most of the time the burden is too heavy to bear on our own." As a pastor, there are times when I feel like I don't want to know the things I do. But as believers this isn't a suggestion, this is a command. This is a good read and reminder for all of us.

Craig Jultila wrote a post on what to do when we feel like giving up. He says, "Honestly, there have been times when I was trying to crawl my way through the tunnel of difficulty hoping, praying, believing for a light at the end! It’s in those moments I must ask myself the following four questions to just keep going." Because we all, regardless of position or status, feel this way this post is helpful.

Our friend, Sam Luce wrote a post helping our kids with the election results. He wrote in part, "We must pray and pass on to our kids the stories of sacrifice and greatness rather than ranting on and on about why (insert political enemy here) is the worst." Parents, this post is both needed and practical.
